De Jaren ’80 zijn helemaal terug. De New Wave Top 100 is één van die lijsten waar een schare hondstrouwe Willy fans het hardst naar uitkijkt. Een hoogmis van het doemdenken en heerlijk zwelgen in nostalgie. Volume 1 vorig jaar was meteen bij release uitverkocht. Volume 2 is nog sterker met alleen maar topnamen uit het genre waarop zowel ‘de zwarte brigade’ uit de jaren ’80 als new wave newbies volledig op los kunnen gaan. De release van dit album valt samen met de radio uitzending op Willy en een marketing campagne op de diverse DPG kanalen. You want it darker..here’s vol.2.
